Hrvoje Slovenc is a Croatian photographer based in New York. He holds MS in Biochemistry from University of Zagreb and MFA in Photography from Yale University School of Art. His photographs have been exhibited in dozens of shows nationally and internationally including Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, Museum of New Art in Detroit, 2010 Art Chicago, and 2009 Pingyao International Photography Festival. Hrvoje's photographs are included in permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago. Also, he is a recipient of London Photography Award, International Photography Award, Golden Light Award, Photography Now Award, Mortimer Hays-Brandeis Traveling Fellowship, BRIO grant, and Alice Kimball English Traveling Fellowship.
Hrvoje currently teaches at Parsons The New School for Design and County College of Morris.
